Frenchtown is about 20 minutes west of Missoula on I-90, so it usually fits into a regular install day, with Huson and Nine Mile homes grouped onto the same trip when there are several.
Frenchtown is twenty minutes west of Missoula on I-90, and it has grown into a mix of newer subdivisions near the school and older ranch properties along Mill Creek and the Clark Fork. Montana Lights serves both. We are owned and operated by Constructive Brothers, a licensed and insured Missoula construction company, and we run holiday lighting as a full-service job: commercial-grade LED strands cut to your roofline, mini lights for trees and shrubs, lit wreaths and garland if you want them, a free design visit up front, maintenance through the season, and takedown and storage in January. You do not buy or store anything yourself, and you never climb.
The subdivisions off Frenchtown Frontage Road and around the high school have a lot of two-story homes on modest lots with steep metal or architectural shingle roofs, and neighbors tend to light up together, which makes a well-done roofline stand out even more. Out on the ranch roads toward Huson and up Mill Creek, the story is different: driveways run a few hundred yards and the house sits back under cottonwoods, so the road view is mostly fence and gate. For those we put the effort where it shows, usually a bright C9 roofline and one or two wrapped trees at the driveway entrance. Inversion fog settles in this part of the valley and hides weak light, so we spec bright bulbs.
Frenchtown is close enough to Missoula that we can usually fit it into a regular install day, though we group it with Huson and the Nine Mile area when there are several homes out that way. Most homes run $700 to $2,500 for a first season and less in returning seasons, since your strands are cut once and stored with us. Book by October 31 and the Lit by Thanksgiving Guarantee applies. The 48-Hour Repair Promise handles anything that fails. Call (406) 207-2524 for a free design visit.

On the ranch properties west of town the first thing anyone sees is the gate, not the house. Wrapping the gate posts or the nearest pair of trees with mini lights and running a C9 line along a short stretch of fence gives visitors a lit entrance and makes the driveway easy to find in the dark.
The newer subdivisions around Frenchtown have a lot of similar two-story homes close together, and a roofline that is cut to the house rather than draped from a box is what separates yours from the neighbor's. We measure each gable and eave and cut the C9 strand to length, then clip it so the line is straight from the street.
The flats between Frenchtown and the Clark Fork hold inversion fog for days at a time in December, and dim lights disappear into it. We use commercial-grade C9 bulbs with real output and space them evenly, so the roofline still reads from the frontage road on a gray afternoon when the sun never breaks through.
We supply the lights, design the display, hang it with roof-safe clips, keep it running all season and take it down in January. Most Missoula homes run $700 to $2,500 for a first season.
